We were told not to come anymore atour place of work. As we aren’t going to work anymore we are facing financial problems. Lockdown has shut down everything… and we faced a lot of problems in running my family.

I used to work in Gurgaon. I was living in Gurgaon, sector 52. Suddenly, everything was closed. I faced a lot of difficulties, the salary stopped and I lost my job. I survived very difficult situations for 2-3 months. I had to ask my parents for money. I and my friends booked a taxi. We returned home on June 8. We completed the quarantine period and followed all the instructions of the government.

Due to the lockdown, the farmers have faced a lot of difficulties. First, the sale of vegetables
stopped. Then the sale of wheat was impacted. We could not sale wheat in the market due to
which we could not make payments to the harvester owners. The farmers are facing problems
but more problems are being faced by poor people. Their livelihood was impacted. The
payments they were getting from farmers… also stopped.
